I have a '74 K20 with a Dana 60. I am thinking of converting it to a dually. Is this rear axle strong enough? I'm not intending to heavy pulling or hardcore 4 wheeling. I would be doing it just for fun. Thanks for the advice.

Yes, it is strong enough. Sure it's a Dana 60 though? Not a 14 bolt or an old Eaton?

Idk where at in Cali you're located but I'll be pulling my dually Dana 70 here soon to swap in a narrower cab and chassis dually axle if you're interested. It's in really good shape has fresh oil and bearings in it. Nice axle very HD tubes are thick as ****.
