I just screwed a piece of probably 3.5 inch scrap PVC pipe to the inside of my drivers door. I did not want to hold drinks between my legs for the next 120 miles, so I made it work.

you might be able to tuck that top flange between where the dash cap and dash metal meet so that the holes required to mount it are hidden. then use rivets for a flush fastener so the bottom of the dash cap can sit over it without bulging. Only problem is, the bottom flange needs to be deeper than the top part to reach towards the lower metal part of the dash as it’s leading away from you. If you extend that part you could use double foam adhesive so you wouldn’t need to drill a visible part of your dash.

Probably more work than it’s worth though.

My dad made this many years ago for my celebrity. Its been in every vehicle ive ever had. Its about 20lbs! Heavy enough to never move. He also made the change holders on it. Its big enough to hold anything, its just not pretty. Its currently parked up against my seat on the trans hump. Also some hidden props to GMSB in them pics lol

I'd love that to be flying around the cab in an accident!
