I have a cracked rotted rear frame on my 87 K10.I've heard that they do sell left over frame from the factory new for $800.Does anyone know if this is true or point me to the place that sells them

never heard of it but for that price you can buy a parts truck or just a frame for yours, not a partial one either a complete one, much easier IMO.

They do sell frame sections but if you don't have the equipment to do a section it will be difficult. The easiest way will be to find a frame and just replace it.

We've had a couple guys recenlty buy rolling chassis for $300 and $400 with good K10 frames on this site. That's what I'd do. Look for a rolling chassis in your area that has a good frame. You're to far from OKC, I might consider letting one go, and I think I know someone here that has one too. And I scrapped one from an 80 about 2 months ago so they are available and likley your cheapest way out.
