@Craig 85 Is your Evaporator fitting (to the suction-side of the compressor) a #12 to #10 reduction fitting? I'm going to use a similar Accumulator with fittings at the top (not the J-tube variety) and I'm thinking a 135° reduction fitting there would help me run that hose to the rear as you did, but I haven't been able to source one.

Alternatively, I could run the hoses to the front as @chipmaker did and use a 90° reduction fitting.

You may want to start a new thread. I ended up all factory AC with 90 degree connections.

How did you get the Lines hooked up with the factory compressor with your tall valve covers? no matter how much I search in this thread I can't find a definitive answer with what parts to get. Looks damn clean in your engine bay to. Thanks in advance

The picture shows a 90° threaded fitting block with custom made AC manifold lines.

One thing I forgot to mention is that R4 compressors used different types of sealing washers as well as different mounting depths. There are different thickness sealing washers (seals) to accommodate an even surface manifold line flange on a compressor with staggered sealing surfaces.

I appreciate that, I did get the seals ordered up. Got the compressor mounted & the 90' adapter showed up yesterday. I hope it clears there's hardly any clearance between the back of that compressor and the valve cover.

Maybe just a longer belt? Or rework the brackets so the compressor rolls out a little farther?
