This is the first time I've seen this thread in 13 months!
A lot of great info and experience!
It's also the greatest amount of TBI lovin' and NO QJet bashing I've seen.

Life is good!

Can't help being a Rochester bitch. They're easy.
I've had my dealing with Holley.
Haven't had any experience with Edelbrock so, I can't say.

lots of different tb units, have different cable bracket and distances between cable end stud and the bracket and also vacuum connectd and etc... need one for a truck and a cable for a truck too.. 87-91 old square body truck style ones. i have a stock tbi 350 harness that i will never use or need. i strictly run Q jet carbs on all my drivers. i just happened to strip part out a square body tbi truck and have an intake and a distributor and etc too all gonna get scrapped if it sits much longer... wish i could find someone who wanted and would trade me a part i could use for any of it hm,,,

It's the sense of humor when I get buzzed.

I was (had to) into my Holley every weekend, for over 2 years. Read, ask questions, try tips; nothing every made it right.

Q-Jet, I bolted it on, set the Idle Adj and, off I went. Never had to touch it again.

That's the roll-of-the-dice I got.
