So I replaced my c10 cab with a k10 cab.
I used the c10 seat in the k10 cab...is the entire floor higher in a k10 or just the hump?
I got new foam for seat and I am looking thru the tint strip on windshield.
Is it foam or seat brackets?

It's just the foam. Old and worn vs. new and aftermarket.

Process of elimination.
I know the foam is different from the old slab of dilapidated foam. Just didn't know if the seat hardware was different.
Thanks

I'd say it's the same. The hump is the only thing higher in the cab.

I think they're the same. Wasn't there like a deluxe seat foam though? Much more foam and taller?

Also I'm an average built guy and I have a good condition seat in my 79 and even I sit pretty dang high in a regular cab.

Suburbans are way more big guy friendly all around. The seat leans back quite a bit more and seems to have more head room than a truck as well.

Same, you have a difference in the 73-80/81-87 though. I think it's the foam thickness but cannot remember. You also have a difference in the slider handle with the 73-80 being on the side and 81-87 being in the front.
