The pass side bucket seat for my 77 K10 pickup is missing its rear floor brackets. Can someone post a picture or 2 of them, so I can see what I need to look for or build? Thanks!

They are basically just "Z" shaped plates, iirc. They of course mount to the base of the seat, then they raise up and sit on the ledge at the back of the cab, and bolt down there.

Thanks for posting that, lots of good info there! Here's my 78 GMC donor cab, I'm guessing the seats are the originals. The floor has the welded tabs for the front mounts, I THINK the only parts I'm missing are the Z shaped rear mounts for the pass side. I haven't had much time to check them out yet.

Someone on one of the FB pages sent me a pic when they removed their seats and sent me a pic of how the carpet was done for my 77 project. The real magic on the bucket seats seems to be the front bracket that nobody makes and is real hard to find.

There are small time fabricators that often sell those floor mounts. They are not exact reproductions, but they function the same.

Those would be easy enough to make out of strap iron,a big vise and a big hammer, oxygen acetylene would help but I think I could make those without it. If someone can make you a profile template that would be awesome. That looks like just a single simple bend. If you can't, maybe a local middle school or high school has a metal shop,a kind instructor can put a kid on it for you.

Thanks for the picture KKg3P81! The donor cab still has the front brackets installed, so I'm good on those, just missing pass seat rear brackets. Thankfully, the driver seat still has it's track. I do have an extra set of front brackets that I'm going to list in the for sale section, once I'm able to post there. Thanks all!
