A nice trucks appearance ruined with rims. And I get someone paid a **** ton for the wheels too.

That truck makes me want to shoot someone. "If I remove the 4x4 shifter, my common 4x4 with hoopty wheels becomes a high-dollar lifted 2wd bling mobile!"

...I know they didn't actually say it, but I bet that was the thought in their head when they started building it.

Yep, and 4 wheel drive swb are hard to come by here, or at least cost a pretty penny. Ruined a perfectly good truck. The mecanico general sign in the back cracks me up too, nothing like selling a truck in front of a mechanics shop.

Not necessarily. It was an option. I believe all of the Duramax trucks had the allisons, but the gassers were either allison or a 4l80 I think. Honestly from what I have read the Allisons are OK at best, and really need to be kept within their power ratings, or else they make a very, very, VERY expensive boom.

Hell yes they did, and that is a sick-nasty price too! Man if I had the cash I'd fly up to get that truck! If only it had a duramax in it... Thats a $$ maker right there!

For some reason, I'm thinking you had to have the 8.1 or Duramax to get the Engine Braking Allison for 2002. The 6.0 I still think got the 4L80-E.

Yeah, but C&C trucks get different options sometimes since they are working vehicles. Being a 1 ton too I could see no reason why the Allison would not be an option. Supposedly, my one aunt's 2000 Silverado 1500 had a special order Allison in it.

I can absolutely see where your coming from, if you have the money I don't see why you cant order order an Allison, that being said Im going to go out on a limb here and say your aunt is mistaking and she does not have an Allison in her 1500

Phuk it !!! I said it so that's good enough. I'm almost positive the 6.0 still got the 4L80-E in 2002. Now that could have changed later on, but I'm saying for the 2002.

The Allison was only available behind the Duramax and the 8.1L. And it was an option for both of those engines, it was never standard issue from the factory. '01-05's were 5-speeds, '06-present are double OD 6-speeds.

I am not convinced that C&C plow truck has an Allison. Would have to get under it and prove it to me.

I thought the Allison was a "mandatory option" with the 8.1 or Duramax
