If that frame is good and the sag is from worn body bushings, might not be a bad deal. Seems everyone wants to pay out the ass for a 4x4 shortbed for some reason. I personally wouldn't pay over $500 for it and that's only if it needed something like a fuel pump, dizzy, timing chain or carb to get it running.

Yep. Long Bed for me too. Especially if you intend to lift it. Much better driveshaft angle to the rear end. Longbeds also ride alot better too. Not near the rearend bounce. I guess shortbeds are faster or something. I just don't get why people pay alot more for less truck.

Its the look, Its more of a mini truck up in the air. Shortbeds just have a look to them. If building for show, go Shortbed. If building for using, Go longbed, CC would be even better.

That's real old school on the wrecker bed. That's what I first learned on. The old trusty fixed boom, sling and J hook method. Used back in the days when cars and trucks had real bumpers. Would still make a good scrapping truck since you woudn't be to conerned about damaging bumpers. or sheet metal.

Seeing the plow on it is scary. I see plow trucks, I pretty much don't even go any further. Usually just tells me it's been subjected to road salt heavily and will be a total rust bucket in short order if it's not already.
