What are the good brand names for under $100? I found a Duralast 750 amp for $69.99 at autozone? Is the Duralast packs any good?

I use a solar trickle charger for my long term projects. Doesnt help you much with your question, but if the vehicle gets any sunlight adn sits for prolonged times they work great. best $20 i ever spent.

Why jump a mower battery? If the battery is low enough on a charge to not spin a mower you are better off throwing it on a trickle charger. The charging systems on those small engines wasn't made to recharge a dead battery, only to maintain a charge.

Yes they were made to charge a dead battery. But if its too low then yes it needs to be charged from a regular charger. Riding mowers run a 12v system just like vehicles do.

Made in China. Why you ask?

Just wondering. I've recently realized just how much walmart is probably hurting the economy. Even their brand foods often come from China.

Trickle charger is the way to go for sure on those mower batteries. IF there is any chance in hell of reviving one that has sat for some time, trickle charge is the way to go.

I usually charge them at 20 amps for half hour.

Guarantee you, a good 2amp trickle charge over night for a deep cycle charge will have better luck at reviving the battery.

no charging system is made to charge a dead battery car truck ship mower nothing. You will kill the system in no time by over heating the altenator!
