ive just went through the process of putting my 84 2wd cab on my 82 4wd frame, i bought both of these trucks on a deal so im kinda having to figure things out as go since the other owner had already started working on them. i got the 84 cab set on the 4wd frame an noticed i didnt have any body mounts for the 4wd so i got the 2wd mounts from the 84 an they wont fit down in the cab mounts on the frame i thought about notching out the holes on the frame mounts but i didnt know if i needed to try something different an i hate body lifts so i wont it to set stock hight on the frame, does anyone know how thick the body mounts are supossed to be? thanks
