Hey fellas,

I just purchased an '85 cab to replace the too far gone '75 I have now. I'm in the the midst of doing some body work on this "new" cab and I decided to do new inner/outer rockers, cab corners, and a drivers floor pan. Where's the best place to buy this stuff for a decent price and possibly in a "kit"?

Thanks!

Lmc truck has patch panels, not sure what expensive is to you but I don't think they're too bad in my opinion.

Your local auto body crash parts supplier is probably the cheapest route. Prices are usually comparable to places like LMC, but you don't have to pay shipping and you can easily return something if it doesn't fit.

I bought some patch panels from LMC and welded them on a few days ago. Super cheap but they fit like crap. But that's ok because my welds are crap and I'm going to need a lot of bondo anyways.

You could try Summit Racing. I ordered my inner fenders, cab corners, outer rocker panel from them. Price was cheaper than any where I looked and the parts were all made by Goodmark.

Lmc panels don't line up well and they aren't US made. I bought replacement rear tail lights from LMC. Although the lights and buckets fit, the chrome trim (cheap aluminum) fits like crap. Another source is JC Whitney, but again shipping will get you there as well.
Best and cheapest would be a salvage yard. Ebay may be cheaper...but shipping cost??

Try local craigslist.org too. You might be able to get more replacement parts for the $$

I think the question was "Where to get the best replacement panels ?" Not the cheapest!
