best place to buy a door

My 85 C10 was hit in the driver door by a deer. Needless to say I am sick. The shop that is going to do the work wanted to buy a good shape used door but is having problems finding one. I need a driver door for an 85' C10 Silverado with the power windows and locks option. Where is the best place to buy a good new or used complete door that I can have my parts put in?

Pretty sure all the internals from your power door will cross over to a non power door from 1977 and on. I just put 1980 window glass, vent windows (with frames), felt and trim in a 1989 door using the 89 track and power regulator and everything worked fine.

I don't know, its bent all the way to the parallel reinforcement in the door. He was running full steam when he hit me. I should be thankful he didn't come in the window.

Did you look at that ebay listing I put up? It is for a door shell. There are several on Ebay and that listing lists the tons of vehicles it fits,and has the O.E. number to aid in your search.

No, I'm waiting on the body guy, if he can't, I guess I'm going to have to.

FB Marketplace and craigs list always has squarebody's and parts listed. That would be my first stop.

I would 100% try to find a used OEM door, although @TotalyHucked may sell or know who has quality new aftermarket.
Idk may be some inequity between older model 70s doors and 80s doors though. Worth knowing if goin used.

Like Grit dog said, try to find an OEM. That way, the lousy quality control of the 80's will be kept consistent. Matching straight parts to crooked parts is a PITA.

LMC has good doors if you buy the more expensive one (Premium) . I lived close by so I saved shipping by picking it up myself. If you buy a new door, bend it where you have to before painting and installing glass. Then take it off and paint and install glass. Every new door will have to be bent in some places and shimed at the hinges.
