Hey guys just got the LS dropped in my 87 K5 along with the 4L60E and the original to the truck np208.

Need the following bolt sizes has somehow I misplaced them.

- 2 bottom bellhousing bolts near oil pan (see pic)

- transmission mount stud nuts (mount to crossmember) there are 2 of them

- transfer case side bolts. See pic. These I have but forget if theres a stiffener bar or something that goes here? And is it necessary?

On a side note, I recommend relocating those knock sensors. Was tends to get into those areas and rust out the connections. Its a pain to have to pull the intake down the road to replace them. Or if you plan to leave them there, its best to dry that area very well and then use sealant on those black covers to keep water out. Then if they fail, you can just leave them there and splice into the wiring harness and add the new sensors to the front of the heads. Same threads, they screw right in.

On SBC I believe these two holes had rods that went forward and bolted to the motor mounts. Not sure what the LS trucks had.

I couldn’t find any good pictures of how mine mount, mine are from a GMT-400 body truck and have the 3 bolt clamshell motor mount pattern at one end and a stud that goes through the bottom holes at the other.

Yes, IIRC stiffener bar goes from side of T-Case to bell housing

My LS and 4L60E came from a 2wd and I dont remember bolts at the bottom of the bellhousing but wear marks indicate that there were bolts there

Best I can do is a screenshot from a video from under my chassis. Looks like your bell housing is a little different than this one but you can see how the rods fit
