I have a 1988 GMC Suburban V10. It has axles out of a 78 3/4Ton. I'm changing the axles for a better gear ratio, Rearend is the same and on the front Im going from a Dana 44 to a GM Corporate 10 bolt(8 Lug). My question is are Warn 9072 locking hubs and 20990 locking hubs interchangeable if you swap the hub and rotor as well. One is the flange style and other is straight. Here are some pics I found online of the two types of lockers. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Okay, let's see if we've got this straight:

Your 88 Burb currently has F/R axles that were originally under a 1978 K2 - and the front axle is a Dana 44. Right (as noted below)?

"Rear end is the same", I'm guessing refers to the F & R axles having the same gear ratio? As for the 10 bolt Corp axle that you plan to install; what year - and weight class - truck did it come out of?
As a general rule of thumb, D44 and Corp 10 bolt outer parts are the same (or interchangeable) - but, that only applies if they are in the same year ranges. Your images show a 2nd design lock (top) and a 1st design lock (bottom). But I'm not sure that bringing the hub/rotor sets over - along with the locks - is an option either. I think the outer shaft diameters and bearing OD's are different on Dana vs. Corp.
You know what, I'm going to hand this off to someone who actually knows what he's talking about. Bucket is all over this stuff - ask him.
