Hey..... I have an 87 with a 305 and a 700r tranny and I am on my 3rd flexplate, the last one only lasted 10k and the truck has 94k originally miles. My dad was the original owner and kept it covered and in the garage with zero abuse...... Is there any paticular reason I keep going through flexplates or is there anything I should be looking for that may be the cause?

Thanks,

Daniel

Something else is causing it. What is going wrong with the flexplates? Missing teeth? Cracked around the center hub area?
