Got a few 'zukis in the basement.

I like performance, not a heavy bike with an intentionally unbalanced engine. Old dude I work with might be selling me an old shovelhead crazy cheap and I'm not against it specifically, but that's not exactly my style. Ridden a few Harleys in my day and they feel weird. I understand the appeal but just not my thing. I wish it was possible to get near a Harley without being a complete ass. There are a couple bike gangs in town (to the point where the local bar has a "no club patches" sign on the door) and those fat Harley riders don't take kindly to sport bikes around here, but A) I'm not a dick and I don't cause trouble for them, B) my 14 year old *** bike has 10x the performance of ANY Harley ever made so I can get away if they do take issue with me, and C) I am rarely unarmed.

The '05 GSX-R750 20th anniversary is my current "rider", the ****** old dirtbike in back is an '86 sp125 dual sport that I don't have time to put back on the trail/road, and the old '93 GSX-R750w you can see covered in dust up front was a stunt bike that I halfway turned into a streetfighter, but would probably stunt it again if I ever decided to get it running again (hasn't touched pavement in 3-4 years).
Too bad We aint living closer on the map. I`d be over bugging You every day until I had that in My possession. :Caffeine:

A pic of My other bike. 1974 Triumph T-150 Trident.
T-150 is the model number, A triple cylinder 750cc. model number also represents in MPH of the obtainable top end. it is geared a little taller and is capable of around 160, according to the mile posts as they fly by. measured from the second hand of my watch.
Just cause I`m old does not mean I am ALWAYS slow. :Caffeine:

That was an awesome read. Wish everyone had a link like that to stuff. Lol

Glad you got it back. I can't express what a beautiful bike that is. It's one of those you expect in a museum.
My heart leaped when Jerry said they had that bike at their farm. :Caffeine:

So does that mean you were riding one handed while looking at your watch at 160 mph???..... If so ,you really do have a close relationship with God!!!!!

You should learn how to ride on a dirt bike. AND then you will learn how to crash... when to tuck and roll.. when you can stay on top of it in an eventual low side... or when to jump.
Best to learn how ride before you hit your twenties, when your bones are like rubber instead of older with brittle chicken bones.
Look at every car as if it is planning to kill you and plan around that.

My friends moved here from England when I was in 4th grade. His dad had a 2 car garage full of motorcycles. Mostly dirt bikes that we rode but, he also had a couple of triumphs, BSAs and Indians. They were sweet!

Hasn't had a bike in years and am having to fight the urge to buy another one. Still renew my motorcycle license every time just in case I do.

Nope, at that speed it is just a very quick glance at the watch on the wrist. LOL It is all a person can do to hang on too, gripping fuel tank, feets on rear pegs and knuckles turns white and the force of the air makes a persons face sting too.. :happy160::happy175::happy175::happy175:

I never plan on riding fast when I go on a drive, its just something happens in Mine head that says TWIST THE BITCH. :Caffeine:

Not a Sprint, earlier then them. Sprints were made in Italy in a joint venture with Aeromacci, I think Mr Marty's was made by Harley.
Do you know anything about antique harley/aeromacci bikes? Around 175cc?

My son has a few Sprints, not sure if he has any 175 stuff left. I'll check with him. I had a couple of parts bikes years ago, but sold some and gave the rest to him. I have a few M50 parts in the shed if anyone is working on one of those.
