Welcome from Maryland. My buddy built a fake GS skylark and we cruised the hell out of it in the 80’s. 1972 post car, 350 2bbl, real GS hood and trunk spoiler, crazy 80’s stripes, keystones and single exhaust. We had no idea what we were doing, but had a blast.

Yeahhh drop spindles cause issues in these trucks..be advised. My opinion is to raise the rear back up. Two inch blocks for starters... Would be cheap and easy.Two inch.

My vote is to take it back to stock height, but that's probably my age talking.

Good job on the paint restoration!
