87 TBI oil pressure sender wire

I’m sorry guys I know it’s probably on here somewhere I tried looking. I just did an engine swap on my 87 R10 and I went to a carb instead of TBI. I just need to know the color of the oil pressure sender wire for the gauge so I can jump it from the fuse block. The original engine I pulled out had a switch for the fuel pumps behind the distributor and the sender wire by the starter and I buried that wire in the engine harness.

It’s green just like the coolant temp sensor wire. I had to mark mine to keep from mixing them up on the engine swap on my 87 I did last month.

It's tan on my 85 C10 that I switched from a 6.2 to 350 with a carb.

It’s tan on my 87 suburban with a 6.2. But he has an 87 tbi which is green like I said. I have 3 87 tbi trucks. All are green.

Hi,
I know im jumping back on an old thread, but im needing to locate my oil pressure swith wire as well, I have an 87 gmc originally 305tbi.
I understand the wire is green, the switch has 2 spade clips, are there 2 green wires? Are they ran together?
Just want to locate them in the harness.

I would have to look at the switch wiring on my truck later but I am not sure the Switch wire is the same color as the Sender wire. The Sender for the gauge is underneath the engine close to the oil filter. The Switch is at the back of the intake manifold underneath the distributor.

The later ones (like my 1990) have the switch and the gauge all in one behind the distributor

NM @gmbellew covered it .screw your oldcsenders into your new motor plug your old sender or senders back in clip the fuel pump hot lead.
