I have an 86 GMC with a 305 auto. that start sometime and then it won't start. Engine turns over fine. It would not start a week ago so I just let it sit and a couple of days ago it started right and continued to start for couple of days. Yesterday it would not start. All ground cables are clean. It acts as if it is flooding but opening choke plate in the carb it still will not start. If the oil sending unit is going bad will that not allow the engine to start? Thanks for any suggestion.
