84 c10 long box

this is my first prostreet build and I was wondering if I could tub it out without narrowing my rear end and if so what size wheel would I have to use and how much backspacing and tire size it is a 10 bolt rear.

What are your planned specs? If your gonna be putting any kind of power to the back wheels. I would sugest finding a 12bolt, or getting a 9" and putting your spring perches on.

There was a pickup in an old issue of Super Chevy, it was tubbed with big meats and had what looked like a stock width axle. The wheels had crazy backspacing and IMHO, looked downright goofy.
