81 license plate wiring leds HELP

So im gettimg a roll pan for my 81 the pan comes with aled light 2 wire
The stock light has one and is grounded to work. My question is has anyone ever wires up led to the stock setup any help would be appreciated

One should be a ground and one should be power.
