I had thought they were the same? Just different headlight buckets, bezels and filler panel under the grill.

I have heard that, someone told me that all I had to do was change out the buckets to the square ones and go from there. I didn't know if that was true.

Hollander and the parts catalog show different part numbers.

I don't know if it has different buckets, it would be a different part number. I don't know if it is true about the core support being the same just with square buckets instead of round buckets

A 1977-80 support could be modified....Maybe.....Possibly......Would need to look at both for comparisons.

Yeah, it might just be a minor difference that causes the change in part number. On the other hand, it could be completely different...

I have been looking at LMC, and a couple others, and it shows the same part number for the core support from 75 to 80, I think I'm going to see if I can get some buckets, and new bezels, and trim, and swap my round eye to a square eye.

Cause it's just square lights in a round-eye front end. Generally accepted by the round-eye community :p

I can only find heavy duty plastic for the head light buckets at a fair price. ePay has a couple sets for like 250 to 300, or I can get the plastic ones for around 70.

Seriously? Used on ePay? I might have to put those on the list to watch for in the yards.
