Slide under your truck with a tape measure. A flip is 6-7” with no ability to make it “slightly less” unlike the multitude of options if you don’t flip it.
Axle flip is a no go without a notch on C10s like ours.

I've got a flip kit and did not c-notch. Have yet to hit the frame/axle.

I know plenty of guys that have a flip kit without a notch and have no issues, that just goes back to my saying these trucks are like fingerprints, every one of them is different. I personally wouldn't flip without a notch but I work mine harder than most and need the extra room

How much clearance do you have?

Mine is also a Heavy Half c15, so that probably gives a bit more clearance I would guess. Also that heavier spring pack must resist axle bottoming on frame.

But like said above after all these years different spring set ups, mileage, varying loads, etc they are all different.
