I have a pair of those for my s10 but i wasnt real sure i liked the idea of them. Your truck looks sweet!! And i love those bfgs!

A long time ago, I lowered my S10 with used 3" lowering springs that had also been cut and unknown amount. They lowered it 4", which was way too much. I put in 1/2" thick rubber coil spring seats and it worked perfectly for the rest of my ownership.

Im tryin to lift the nose enuff to run a 31x10.5x15 to match the back. Idk how much i need or how im gunna do it but i was given those spring spacers and lift shackles but i like the back where it is i just want front to match.

Hi guys,

Merry Christmas! Hey I thought I'd update you on how things went. After a lot of work trips getting in the way, I finally got to wrap up this project last week. Here is how the truck sits today, front and back.

I had a few spare items, not knowing if I would get the right amount of front lift on the first try. I had the new Moog HD springs, and I had two different thicknesses of shims for under the springs.

Obviously, the job is so involved, and I'd have to do both sides to really see the results, I was really hoping that I'd get it right the first try. My buddy who came to help also wasn't exactly interested in doing it all twice.

So I put the new springs in, on top of the smaller of the shims I'd bought. In the end, this is the amount of lift I wanted. I did not want to fake a 4x4 look, but just give a little more room for the bigger wheels and tires, while making it a tough beefier. The taller shims would have taken it yet another inch higher.

For the rear, I used 2" blocks (but they oddly measure 1-3/4", go figure). The rear is 1/2" lower than the front, so I think I'll swap them for some 2-1/2" - 3" blocks to make sure it's at least level or better from the front.

I'm happy at this point. But if I decide I want a touch more height ,I can always swap those shims out (and risk limbs with that spring compressor once again LOL)

HAHA wow I can't believe that I missed that. There was an ugly new house in the background that I thought I'd have photoshop AI out. It did it so easily, but I didn't notice that it messed with the truck- and for no reason. Anyway, sorry I missed that!
