That's a good deal, let me pay my mortgage and let you know if I can do it this pay period or next. Next pay period is on the 25th. The camping trip cost a little more than expected in supplies so I may have to wait. I do need to source the parts for the 4L80 swap, and the '65 has been hoarding the funds as of late.

I did a search.

I read the whole thing front to back.

Now I wanna know:
Did you rebuild the transmission?
Did you get it installed?
How did it work out?

Inquiring minds want to know.
It has been 5 years since the last update...

Thanks for asking. Sourcing the parts, having the funds was always the problem so it never got anywhere. Was actually looking at it today and figured selling it would be best. Besides, I like the truck being a numbers matching vehicle, and would rather rebuild the th400.

Thanks for getting back to me!

I am going to be starting on putting a 1998 454 / 4L80 combo into my '54 Bel Air.
So I thought I would see what has been done on this message board.

I thought about putting it into my Squarebody for about a second, but it already has a 454.

I wish I would've had a donor to get everything from, that may have helped, but it still comes down to money.

The '54 is a good candidate for the transplant.
