Hello, can anybody out there identify this broken part? It fits into a 1991 Suburban and holds the headlamp harness to the bulb by clipping into the headlamp housing. I recently installed the battery/relay swap to power the four headlights and all four clips broke. The new harnesses didn’t include these and fit a little too loose. I can’t seem to find the part number or even what GM calls it. Searching on the net has been fruitless. I’d like to see how much they cost to decide if I buy, or if I should make my own.

I do have the suburban grille on mine with the 4 headlights but it's a bit different. I got all the new lights and hardware from Lmc for about 100 bucks. I'll look in my build thread for pictures.

I have those on my 90. as you said, they exist to keep the headlight connector connection solid. I don't see a part call out for them in any of the manuals, but I didn't complete an exhaustive search. maybe you could just fix it with a bit of pipe strap, a drill to make holes in the plastic, and some small bolts and nuts?

Connector harness update

Found this on Australian Ebay, $45 plus 12.50 shipping https://www.ebay.com.au/p/1248260462.
I can’t justify spending over $100 USD to get four plastic clips. However, the part number is 12046532 for future reference.

With gmbellew’s suggestion of a pipe strap I started gathering stuff to make my own harness clip. When I pushed a zip tie through the holes I decided that’s all it needed. Nice and snug, not going anywhere. Four zip ties for less than one dollar :)

Here’s a close-up pic of the driver’s side.

Threw a couple extra zip’s in my emergency road kit. Clean it up with a quick snip of the dikes and I’m calling this headlight relay project complete.
