FYI, adding only dropped shackles or dropped hangers will change the drive line angle and move the axle a little forward (with hangers) or rearwards (with shackles). I did just the hangers and had to get my driveshaft shortened and then use pinion angle shims to tilt the nose of the pinion back down 4 degrees. Believe me, that was no fun. Had to make some longer spring locator pins to work with the shims. If I had a do-over, I'd opt for 2-inch "dropped" springs.

Mr. Gasket shock extension (left) shortened and machined to use as longer locator pin to accommodate pinion angle shim.

Good to know if I ever change the height of my R10.
This is for my k5 (going up).

Well, heck, I should read a little more carefully! I'll cut and paste my comments into next thread about lowering.
