Ok so after a long long long time of learning and trial and error thanks to this forum and everybody's help I finally have some progress updates and pics. I pulled my 350 awhile back with hopes of cleanin it up, painting it, replacing gaskets and dressing it up with some goodies for looks and performance. Still not finished lol

Ofcourse I also pulled the TH350 to give it a much needed degreasing and replace the front and rear seal, vacuum modulator, and clean the valve body real good. While the valve body was out I decided to put in a shift kit and replace all the gaskets ofcourse.

I still have to finish installing the water pump pulley, power steering, fan and a few other things. I am itching to fire it up!

Don't forget to replace the bolt near the fuel pump on the front of the block to prevent any leaks.

Also that looks like a TH350C not a TH350. Can you post a picture if possible of the left side of the tranmission

Negative. The top hole on some blocks is actually a pass through hole so you can stick a long 3/8 bolt through it to hold the fuel pump push rod when installing a new fuel pump.

This bolt gets missed on a lot of rebuilds and though it may not make a big mess it can lead to oil leakage from that hole.

Thanks again! I will get a bolt in it ASAP! Any extra info is appreciated.. I hope to give it the first start this weekend..
