If your oil pump was bad or going bad you would have an oil "dummy light" on the dash come on, or your oil gauge would be showing less than 10 psi pressure at idle. You would probably have rod knock beginning to happen too. For the 327, any particular reason you're looking for one? Or just mainly the horsepower of like a 350 horse 327? Are you wanting to build it yourself or buy one already assembled? What kind of drivability are you wanting? Rough idle but otherwise streetable or something all-out performance? As for the pics, when you click post reply you'll see "manage attachments" below the box where you type. Click that and a new window pops up where you can click "browse" and find your folder where the pics are and upload them 1 at a time there. I think there's a limit of 5 per post.

i have a 327 block, and a SCAT factory replacement crankshaft, a full set of SCAT 5.7" rods they are a balanced set +/- 1 gram i think? and and full floating forged pistions, everything is brand new, well except the block but the block is standard bore still found it a while back and just needed to be honed so its like brand new still, but believe me there it wont be cheap but i will be fair with you if you are interested, ill even make it a short block for you, its really in my way and it needs to go bad

I've got three 350 blocks plus the one in my K1500, so that means I have 4 327 blocks. The large journal 327 from 68-69 IS a 350 block. Also uses the same 5.70 inch rods as a 350, so other than the crank, and the compression height on the pistons, if you have a 350 block, you have a 327 block. Keep in mind, that is for 68-69 LARGE journal 327's. Small Journal 327 is the one I'd want if I was going to run a 327. Available from 62-67. Hard to find these days and the idiots that have them think they are gold. I seen one listed for $1500 needing rebuilt not long ago. I told the guy he had a typo and added one to many zero's and he got pist off and said NO he didn't typo. The small journal 327 will spin up rpm quicker and they are also ALL forged cranks as with any small journal SBC including the 265 and 283.
