I have a 1989 factory stock Fuel Injected engine I will convert to carb. I need a aftermarket aluminum intake
squarebore if anyone has one laying around they want to sell. Remember 89 had a different center bolt angle. Thanks.

The only difference is the angle on 4 bolt holes and there's enough meat on most if not all manifolds to egg the bolt holes with a dremel. or a drill bit and use an early manifold. Another option is run a Holley 2bbl on your TBI manifold.

It takes a decent amount of hole slotting and you have to make tapered washers so the bolts can seat correctly. It's something I'm willing to do, but not everyone is.

Summit and Jegs sell the washers. I did one over 12 years ago, don't remember slotting being a big deal, didn't buy washers, honestly don't remember if I made some. I keep thinking I used rocker arm pivots as washers.

Or you could you know buy one that fits.

I thought he might have an early manifold underneath the squarebore carburetor he's planning on using. Sometimes I make things,or make things I have work to save the shipping time and/or money. If he's got a manifold he can use he can have this done before UPS gets there tomorrow.

Thanks for the correction. I forget there are 8 and 12 vertical bolt intakes. As well as half angled and half vertical. My Vortec blocks all had/have old school pattern heads.

Air gap style that fits everything but the 8 vertical bolt style.
