I had a local garage swap out a 1985 305 with a used 350 crate motor with the married 350 transmission and a new 4BL quadrajet w/electric choke. I am now finding hoses and electrical connectors not connected. It is running awesome but very, very rich.[Enough to make your eyes burn]. The question I have is in-regards to the vacuum lines. As far as I can tell, no emissions are being used. The EGR and Canister is still there but not connected. Can somebody direct me to a diagram that shows the correct placement of the vacuum lines without the emissions connected? Do I have to keep the canister as well as the EGR? Because of the age, the state of georgia is exepmting the smog test. All help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

The only vacuum lines you need are the large one for power brakes, large one for the PCV, and then the little ones for vacuum advance, hvac controls, and the trans vacuum modulator.

Running rich might not have anything to do with the unused vacuum lines. Kinda hard to say without seeing it.

One would think it would be similar if not the same 305 to 350 if your using stock components. If not then what was said above would be best.
