I park my C2500 in my garage. It has a strong gas smell. It seems that it is coming from between the bed and the cab. Could this be the gaskets around the sending units? I'm thinking of dropping both tanks and replacing lines, sending units, gaskets, etc. Do you think this is a good plan? Thanks in advance

Should be able to see top of tanks behind cab. Evidence of a leak should be visible, if there. Be aware removing the tanks is a b**ch. Those pesky short noses are hard to deal with. That truck should have a charcoal cannister in the LF engine compartment. If possible remove it and check for liquid [fuel] inside. If that's the case replace it and diagnose the issue.

Check, fuel pump vent, carb, gas caps, and change over valve.
