HI everyone, I've been contemplating for a while about interior design on my 1977 K20. Looking at a USA1 kit but heard they take a while on turn around time, so I'd like to get it ordered. My question is has anyone ever ran a fully black truck with painted black cab complimented with a tan interior. Im torn between the tan and woodgrain interior or just sticking with black and woodgrain. Thanks

I've got a solid black '77 K5. Original interior was red, but by the time I got the truck, most of the interior was removed. I love that color combo, but I had tan seats that I could have used. I set them in it and it looked really good I think, especially with the '77 body trim. In the end, I went with the original red plaid interior though. But the tan looked damn good, imho.

I have just gone thru obtaining interior items for my truck All, saddle and I got them from several different vendors none of the colors matched. I had the seat belts refurbished and asked what paint they used to redye the plastic so now I'm redyeing the door panels, arm rests and kick panels so everything is the same. My truck is Green but black will look awesome to Black always looks better in the shade.

The Black-on-Black approach works well in the winter climates though, had a '75 black on black Corvette that always stayed warm in Nebraska winters...when the sun was out, by the way. I could drive around in 30* weather with T-Tops off and have no complaints. Engine heat was always appreciated.

My C30 is black with a tan interior. I think the look is great. I would not go black-on-black. Almost all new vehicles now have black interiors & I'm not a fan.

I say go for it. Black with tan interior is sharp looking and you will stand out in a crowd as you don't see that combo often. I had a friend way back in the day with an older Jag that was Forrest green with tan interior. That was a good combo too.

My '82 C10 is Tangier with originally Almond (tan) interior. That didn't look so good and now it has black interior.
