Cool, sounds like a proper tear down. You'll be glad you kept it that organized and labeled when it goes back together. I like to take lots of pics of stuff I tear apart, so when comes time to put it back together, If I get stuck and can't remember, I can go back to my pics and see what is what. It helps alot.

Glad to see I'm not the only one bag and tagging! Honestly though, I already have so many bags with just the front clip and bumper/bed that I'm still nervous about putting it back together when the time comes! I've got half a box fulls of bags already!

So now that you've got the BBW cab you're moving on to another truck? :(

Yeah, what's going on here. You should know you can't mention something like that and not give the details.

...how rude!

Well the guy who had the cab I bought, also has a 61 chevy apache. Already BBW. He already has the frame blasted and sprayed black, and hes got $300 worth of ne steering parts on it also. I looked at it today andit was NICE. ad its already done so that boosts my build a lot. The 61 is a more rare truck, even moreso cause all the side trim is there and intact. Most trucks didnt even come with it. The trim alone is worth $1500 cause no one makes it. Plus, the front grille is aluminum and he found a PERFECT one, saw it today. I even like the dealer installed side steps in the bed. He said the bed an tailgate are in very good shape.

So basically, its too good to pass up. I paypal'd him the $1500 and I'll be going back up there sunday to get it. I'll have the frame totally done already so I can focus on body and drivetrain.

A far as my 65,its staying in the driveway until further notice. I was going to build it halfass for my 16 yr old bro but honestly its still going to be more work and money that way also. So its staying, I see no reason to sell it.

Heres a few pics. The frame is now a rolling unit, as opposed to the pics here. He also has new fendersfor it, etc. I'm excited. Gonna be a rare build.

Up until today no one has even seen the trucks...My driveway is so long and the garage turns into the side of the house
