I was beggining to wonder what happened on this project. But then again, been cold about everywhere lately. I assume the Fram is just left over iventory from before you found out its junk??? Hopefully the last one. Go Motorcraft filters. Sams a Purolater Pure One but with a Fram price tag.

Well..just grab an ACDelco, and paint it!---------:roflbow:

No doubt. That's what I do. I can't let my Chevy motor know I'm putting a Motorcraft filter on it, so I paint it Delco Blue before installation. AC Delco's aren't bad filters, but the Motorcraft are better and usually the same price.

Is that filter a PH8-A??? That's usually the thing I like about relocation units. They usually use the PH8-A # and its very common. In good filters like the Mobil 1, the most common ones are cheaper than the uncommon ones. Everyone always has plenty of PH8-A in stock too. Nothing worse than going to the auto parts store and they are out of your filter. Sucks Ass bad. I usually buy my oil and filters on sale and stock up. So normally, I have 3-4 oil change kits here at the house at all times. This way if I get a wild hair to work on the trucks, I have the stuff to do it already. Usually when I am in the mood to do something, I better hit it right then. Cuz If I get in the mood to do it, then by the time I get packed up and ready to go to the auto parts store, get there, stand in line to pay, decide while I am out, I better stop and and get dog food and Pepsi, then realize I am low on smokes too, then swing by the cig shop, by the time I get home, I'm out of the mood or hungry and make something to eat before I get started, then after I eat its time for an old man nap. Moral here is, keep the stuff on hand and its a lot more likely to get done.
