Old post. I'm hoping @HotRodPC sees this. You say the lockers don't matter? Suppose I want to remove my locker (Detroit) and revert it back to an open diff. What parts must be changed to do that?Just don't forget the locker.
BTW, the lockers won't matter. They'll fit either the 4.10 or the 4.56 carriers being they are split carriers.

Or try to find someone that has the same gear ratio and would swap their open for your locking carrier. I bet they would even pay you for yours and gladly give you the open.
