    Finished the other PTO plate cleanup. Filled her with a gallon of 80w-90 and took a trip around town with the old lady, her first ride. Not a drop from the new gaskets so that’s good

    Also got one of the pto plates cleaned up from nasty silicone with new gasket and sealer. Before and after photos. Get to the other side over the next couple days.

    I broke it, apparently. Coolant dripping and a dead battery from cranking the SOB over trying to start it. If I had gas and a lighter at hand there would be a smoking pile of 76 chevy in my backyard.

    Can someone help me figure out rings or caps for the bore gap? I’m unfamiliar with aftermarket rims and trying to research and learn. Don’t want to risk stressing the lugs.

    Spent a couple years and a couple, three winters there. Never again. My car spent one winter there and when we got back to the PNW the brake shop said they had to all but tear the rotors and drums apart cuz of the rust

    I really like the single round lights and look of the 70s SBs so I’m sticking with the easy swaps. Haha. I just found a hood I’m gonna go look at since mine went the way of the taco

    Clear as mud title I have a 76 k10. Which years of fenders and hood will fit? I’ve been searching and searching with no clear answer. I have a line on an 84 jimmy with clean fenders and hood but dunno if they’ll work without modification. What other years will fit better? Thanks.

    i know, and they’re broken in a couple places. The plan is to replace the front fenders altogether and for the rear, remove the flares and fill the holes. Can you believe cutout flares like this are 2-300 a pair. Stupid. If I need a couple inch lift I will for the 35s. Once these mudders...

    New member, recent lurker. Just replaced my old truck (‘91 F150) with an older truck, a ‘76 K10. It’s my utility/winter 4x4 rig and it’s doubling as a fun project. It’s got a 400ci (not original) and sm465 tranny that run pretty good. Np205, 35 mudders (need to replace one). Needs new hood...
