    What’s #15 mean?

It means toss that book and get another one of better quality. A shoe is for drum brakes, disc's require brake pads. If the manual can't get that simple detail correct (difference between brake shoes and brake pads), who knows how much other stuff is wrong...? Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

What have you done to your square lately??

Got my newest addition running smoothly (finally). Had replaced plugs, wires, all filters, rotor, etc... still couldn't get it to stop backfiring through the intake under load. Today I finally had time to straighten out the vacuum mess, check the mechanical advance, the vacuum advance and...

Yeah, should probably be moved over to a build thread at this point. I'm not smart enough to do that anymore. One too many hits to the head with a snake. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

Yes, but took a bath big time on the replacement cab I scored for a great deal. $100 for a rust free cab with a small dent in the roof. I am not a paint and body guy so I took it to a local body shop. I had had it media blasted so they had bare metal to start with and we are at over 80 hrs...

Anyone have a line on GMC grilles?

Working on my 77 K25 Sierra Grande and have kind of hit a road block. Anyone know of a source to get a grille for a 77 GMC? Here is a pic of my current grille, but would love to replace with a nicer stock one. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

Finally got the dash out of the donor C30 to put in the new cab of the K20. May take one of the fuel tanks from it. It was a rollover so cab, bed and fenders are no good. Trying to decide what to do with the rest of the donor. For now, its sitting outside bit, damn I hate to just toss a running...

    Replacing Frame Rivets

I was just recently told (by the guy that owns thr local wrecking yard) that you can get frame bolts from a body shop. They are slightly bigger to fit snugly in the frame holes. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

Thanks for the heads up, I’ve been using the Veterans discount at Lowe’s for years, it is convenient that they finally allowed you to add it to “My Lowes” so you don’t have to wait for a manager every time you check out. We have “accidentally” remodeled 6 houses in the last 5 years so we know...

Hi all, new on the forum from Northwest Montana. Retired old (ish) paratrooper playing my hand at small scale cow, sheep and hay farming now. I picked up a 77 GMC K25 High Sierra a couple of years ago (square bodies have always been my favorite) and have just now pulled it into my shop to...
