@Powerhouse Ranch Very nice! I've got a box that serves that purpose, but it's not all the way up to the bumper. May be time to modify it with a couple 2x4's underneath. -

Falken any good? It's either go back to 31.x10.5 or go with Falken Rubitrek A/T 32" for $200 more. Thanks Guys. [Edit] The falken 32's tread is 19mm with load of 2,535 VS Mastercraft Courser Trail HD 31" 13mm with load of 2,270- Camar068

back to the drawing board, wish I'd noticed it last night. Only the MXT is available in 32x11.5/15. Grrrr....lol. Guess I'll be looking at other brands to compare. More questions to come I'm sure. Thx guys. MXT:- Camar068

32x11.5/15. Looks like the Courser Trail HD would be the equivalent of the AXT2 that I have that need to be replaced. The Courser CXT would be the next step up with out going "gimme all grip" with the Courser MXT. I drive my k10 almost like a car, if the body doesn't roll on dry...- Camar068

Which aftermarket LED headlights?
I did, I used the LMC kit. Less than 6 months later one of the relays crapped out. Amazon for the same type and has been good since.- Camar068

Then compare a few to expensive brands and form your own opinion. my choice of comparisons: Amsoil, amazon, mobil 1. The last 2 are bang for buck in...- Camar068

Help! 1991 Suburban cuts out suddenly, immediately restarts. Tried everything.
Check the wires going to the distributor. I had a blue crimp connector on mine and it would lose connection there and there. If not applicable, carry on.- Camar068

Installed C.R. Laurance metal latch today. I used the old plastic as a spacer for the latch on the drivers side with original screws. Passenger side got the tab end. On the tab side, I had to use the old plastic as a spacer, but had to sand it down a hundred thousands to get the old screws to... -

Ordered replacement AC hardware and compressor and high mount for it. Received dual dash cam and metal window latch. Will pick up modified bumper w/corner steps Monday. Fingers crossed. Have a bad feeling it's gonna look like crap, but functional lol. -

I don't have a 700r4. I've got a 4l60e that came with my 5.3. My understanding is the 4l60e is an electrically controlled 700r4.- Camar068

was very easy. I spent more time cleaning gasket surfaces than disassembly/assembly. The pre-made square sanding blocks came in handy....never really used them until now. -
Bolting 5.3 to 700r4
Should bolt right up. I used the dirty dingo mounts then mounted the trans to the crossmember and then adjusted the engine mount plates to that position.- Camar068

just gonna have my welder put a plate around the bottom like on the top of the bumper. It will be the same level as the ball. Nothing fancy at this time. An idea struck me today. It'd be cool to have that portion I cut out.....push inwards with hinges so it would look like a normal square... -

I'd thought so also, but seen plenty of post's on the web that say 200+ they tend to go shortly after. Cheap enough to fix though. I think it will work out......I really hope so anyway. I paid $1200 for this one at Lowes with military discount about 12 years ago. The price for a new riding... -
