Okay, curious why you went from TBI to carb. Most people I know with square bodies tend to prefer the opposite.
I am a bit old school I guess I prefer a good carb over TBI plus I hate all of the smog junk and removing most of them does not work well with running the stock TBI. I left the CPU and harness in the truck in case I ever go back or sell it to someone who wants to go back to TBI

Got console v.1 done and the driver’s seat good and bolted in today, so I drove it home. After an hour drive, I’m not 100% sold on these seats, not sure this will work longterm.

Not comfortable, or just not positioned right, Zach @TotalyHucked
Little of both. Turns out I’m a little chunky for these seats lol. The bolsters might be a little extreme. And lacks lumbar, not sure if the bolsters are shoving me forward or what.

Also still a bit high and too far forward. These seats are THICC, might need to shave the backs or something. It’s a great position for performance driving but not super great for cruising.

Coming along on the chassis swap. Using the original front cab mounts from the '78 Chevy, but I'll have to modify the rear mounts using the ones from the M37.

My son got the seat in and the new gauge cluster, so we took it for a little drive to calibrate the speedometer.

Got the Blazer body back on the frame, and put outside. Took the cab off the Extracab. Built a cab cart for the cab. Put the frame outside. Trying to make some room in the shop.

I rebuilt the Edelbrock carb, changed the fuel pump and did a cap, rotor and hi output coil. Now I have to drop the tank, if it ever stops raining. Suspected flour I guess in the tank. Pic of the carb

I haven't done a thing to it in a few months.
It has just sat there being patient.

Max had to move it the other day and pumped the gas once to set the choke and it fired right up like it ran the day before.
Love these things.

The canopy is going to come off this weekend and we will take it to the swap meet next weekend.
Hopefully you mean taking the truck to the swap meet to haul all the goodies you are going to buy back with you?!?! Not selling the canopy at the swap meet.. right?

If you ever end up wanting to sell the canopy let me know, I'll drive the K25 down same day and take it off your hands!

Nope, either keep modding these or find some different ones
You might want to check out the 02-06 pickup truck 40/20/40 seats or the front buckets from the same year truck/SUV's that had a console. The only difference between them is whether they have the inside flip down arm rest. The buckets that came in the ones with a console don't have the flip down armrest and the split one's do.

I got a 40/20/40 set in GM light gray leather that matched my original interior for ~$200 all in. The buckets themselves were only ~$50 of that and are full power with aftermarket heaters in them. The only downside is that in order to keep the power adjustments, I'll need to cut the floor down flat, which isn't an issue since I moved the saddle tanks for a single rear tank.

Spent the weekend getting the axle back under the truck, new rear brakes fitted, new brake lines and cables run. Decided to remove the diff cover and clean out the old fluid and get everything sorted before I move on to other items than need to be fixed.
I expected to find an open diff, but was surprised to find it had a G80 locker. This would have been a nice discovery until I looked closer and found the gears on the actuator were stripped and the gear plate that sits behind the spider gear is cracked in at least 5-6 places.

So today I guess I am looking for a replacement diff. Sucks but I guess I am lucky to find it before it exploded and completely destroyed the rear end.
