I'm interested to see what others have done with their K10s in regard to bench seats in which the driver and passenger side move independently from one another AND have a fold down armrest in the center for when nobody is sitting in the middle.

I like this idea a lot, but I am not sure where to start.

Any input (and photos) is appreciated!

No factory bench like that but Qualitex has been selling custom benchs for years that has a lot of customizable features.

I used a set from a 2005 dodge. I feel like I sit slightly closer and higher though. Haven't sat in another with factory seats in forever so I can't say for sure.

I've seen several people use a '95-98 OBS split bench
I’m seriously eyeballing the bench out of my 92 K1500 ecsb as a transplant. Along with the 350 to replace a blown up 4.3 in the 85 C10 swb. The gmt400 benches are just more comfotable than SB benches, not willing to drop $2-3k on a seat no matter how nice they are…

getting one out of a pick pull from a later model is a good cheap idea.

there are some real beefy things out there like a 2002 era GMC.... (lots of foam,

...not sure how hard it would be to put power in,...but maybe you find something with all the works "working" in one easy place,...such would let it go up and down,.lumbar

The seats I have started with power but to get them low enough that had to go. Would have been nice to keep them especially since I got them at pick n pull for $60.

wonder how many have dug holes into a square body floor to put power seats in....
...someone that has had many,...enough to know how to try,..and if already replacing a floor pan has had the thought.

I got my daughter some TMI seats and they worked out pretty well and look good. LMC sells the exact same seat/console for a little cheaper these days. Overall not a CHEAP solution but a solidly good solution.
