@Catbox What's Max doing now?
He has been working on his '49 truck for ever.
I told him I wanted my truck back, that he was supposed to put one of his into storage.

So he played ring around the rosie yesterday and brought my '79 back home.

He has put loads of new stuff into his little 3100.
The best being a complete new heater system and the variable speed electric wipers.

I will have to take some fresh photos here soon.

I went and visited the big fella the other day.
When Max brought home the '49 something had to go into storage and the squarebody was the one to be put away.
We needed to drop some of his "accumulations" off for storage and tried to start it.
No luck as it was being stubborn and jump starting it wasn't working.
It needs a new battery and possibly a new starter as well...
So we tucked it back in and closed the door again.
One of these days one of @Maxwellvis three vehicles will go in there and mine will come home.

The square makes the 3100 look tiny in comparison....

Tiny in exterior dimensions, and also engine bay size. Been there done that. Sweet pic!

Jet lagged after flying back from Michigan for a funeral yesterday. When I got back, started into the brakes. Slow going due to my condition. Upside is that the brake lines and hoses are breaking free without issue. Everything is mint with this truck, factory mint. Almost like I’m getting away with it (most certainly am). Full brake rebuild from front to back starting now.

Been modifying the back side of my hood, hopefully closer to finishing this endeavour this weekend and then on to the window cowling.

Btw for you guys that live around here, I gotta give a great recommendation for the Best Tire stores. Or at least the one in Kent.
Now that Les Schwabs is literally nothing but an overpriced ripoff on pretty much all accounts, I’ve been using these guys for a few years now.
They don’t complain about mounting basically any tire to any wheel you bring in. New, used, internet purchases etc. doesn’t matter. (I have bought a couple sets of tires from them for my company trucks though and they also beat Schwabs, Discount tire etc for price.). Great service and fair prices.
They also were going to make it more than good when they screwed up once. They scratched a nice wheel and literally had ordered another one already before calling me. I didn’t take their offer though. Being fair goes both ways.

Always quick too. Just a good tire shop.
