A healthy cat really makes a huge difference. I'd really like to hear it to if get around to video or audio recording, but will understand if it's to big of a pain in the a**. Glad you like it!

Without having it on a lift it's hard to get good pics. I'll get an audio recording tommorow.

I’m sure the packaging and install was much cleaner with these manifolds. I’d be interested to look at the whole system. Are you keeping a small cam in this engine? The cam in the blueprint 383 isn’t huge, but the main concern for my application would be reversion and pressurizing the cylinders on overlap.

I played with my hookers a long time ago but still waiting to hear what they sound like! Soon I'm still working on body and paint and more important things have slowed things down.

You're getting way more technical than me. I'm just elated it sounds great and no more fumes. With the NV4500, the engine never sees north of about 4k rpm. It has. Comp Cam, thier 4x4 extreme or something like that. Low enough lift to use factory Vortex springs

Damn! Got a pinhole leak in the y-pipe. And if course it's in a spot I can't get to from below. Gonna think on that for a few days. Otherwise, sounds good. Got all the new smell almost gone that comes with new tubing and a new cat. Not sure how to upload or link this video or mp3 file?

The only way you can upload a video is to upload it to youtube and link it, which is pretty easy if you already have a youtube account. I don't know about an MP3.

Cell phones and computers never do audio justice. Sounds much better in person:(

Yes, recorded audio is never the same unless you have a lot of expensive equipment hanging around and even then it's never the same lol. Never the less it give some idea of the sound which sounds good!

So how the hell y'all keep the manifold bolts from loosening up after heat cycling? Retorqed them three times already. I used a "little" copper anti-sieze on them as suggested. I'm considering going with the Stage 8 locking doo hickies?

On second thought, stage 8 won't work on manifolds because they aren't long enough. Maybe I'll just drill the heads on the bolts Hooker supplied and use safety wire. Already got the wire and the pliers, I just forget about that option. Hmmm

Arp at least used to sell a kit for headers that loosened up, it had a retainer clip tgat kept the bolt from loosening

Same issue with the stage 8. Header bolts are are about 2 inches too short to work on manifolds.
