I used something similar to pull the front pump outta my th350!


Next time, use 2 3/8 bolts and a chain. There are 2 threaded holes inside where the pump mounting bolts thread into the case. Put a bolt they the chain, thread into the pump. Run the other bolt thru the chain into the other threaded hole. Use a long pry bar thru the loop of chain, rest the pry bar on the lip of the bellhousing, and lever out the pump.

Dont thread the 3/8 bolts all the way thrust and try to push the pump out! Number one, the hole is only threaded on the front half of the pump. Number 2, it will destroy the transmission case.
