Hello All!

I am trying to decide if I should modify the frame to fit this matching bumper or if that is going to be an issue if someone wants to change it back to original down the road.
fast68chevy posted some great pics of how he did it and I was planning on doing it this weekend but wanted some input.

Thanks!

Cut it and add the correct bumper for the front clip you have. If you're worried about someone wanting later to go back to 73-80 sheet metal, keep the the part of the horns you're cutting off so it can be welded back on.

Not sure what you mean. Because the space between the bumper and grill is so big?

Highly suggest you take those body lift slugs out. Run 1" maximum. Your cab will wiggle around on those 3" posts and wear out the mounts. It also looks like hell.

Maybe it's just my eyes, but that looks like a 3" and a 2" body lift stacked together. If so, that's absolutely nuts.

I didnt measure them but they are 3+ inches. Here is another Picture. I am not sure what he was going for with this. I was trying to figure out why it looked so high with the bed sitting on it.

Can I just unbolt them and pull them out?

This thing was being built as a "show truck" (hence the shaved door handles...) so maybe there was a different plan for the bumpers. Definitely looks a bit strange.
