I have an 82 4x4 and loving it. Every chance I get in working on it but it back to its former glory. Man was it a basket case when I got it. 450.00 bucks. Now 3 months later it's my daily driver.

$450 is an incredible score. It looks like the rust isn’t too bad either. It must have been a shell, or you just lucked out on a seller that wanted it out of their sight yesterday. Welcome!

Yeah I got one hell of a deal. No rust. But the motor and wiring was shot sitting on 4 flats I have the original rally wheels getting powder coated chrome silver. Had to replace the windshield and every component of the windshield wiper system, heater, and had the radiator redone has the original brass radiator. I scored the motor from a co worker which runs great.New rotors,calipers pads, drums, shoes, break booster, master cylinder, bearings and 6 new u-joints. Next on the list it the interior and then off to the body shop.

Thank you all for the welcome. She's not fast but she's reliable and the 4x4 works great. Snow no problem. Looking forward to taking her to the mountains this spring to see how she wheels.
