Replacing 1976 TH350 ..Need Advice

Newbie Here ..The transmission in my 1976 K10 4x4, TH350 NP203 has went out ..I purchased an rebuilt 1985 K Series Blazer TH350 long shaft Transmission , Installed the Transmission, went to attach the NP203 Transfer case and it would not fit ..Do I need an adapter to make this work ? Thanks In Advance

454 - Turbo 400 - 3.73
There are 3 different lengths of the 4x4 output shafts, 1 for NP203, NP205 and NP208. The one you acquired is likely for an NP208 and possilby used a 2in spacer also which means it's likely a 2wd transission that's been modified to replace a 700r4. Did you get the 2in spacer too? Not that it'll work for the NP203, but to confirm it's for an NP208 set up.

I noticed you're in OKC, OK. I might know a guy who knows a guy that can swap those shafts, or maybe even better, swap the guts into your original 4x4 trans case since the cases are a bit different.
