Since all my tool boxes are at the shop I rent now, I have nothing at home for the tools I have there. Got tired of searching everywhere for tools every time I do something, so found me another service cart to fit the bill. Got it at harbor freight this weekend with an Inside Track coupon and with the side tray, cost $203 and change. This one is slightly larger than my other one, heavier construction, latches on every drawer and has grease zerks on the swivel casters.

That's a neat looking item. How much $$$? And how big is the camera head?

Nice! I've got one similar to that, that I also got from Harbor Freight but I think it was the previous generation

There was a post somewhere and somebody was talkin about this thingy and I bought one.
Neat little dial lets me change the brightness of the lights...I don't know how to make a picture yet.

If the resolution is good that's a score. To get one with that small a camera head I had to spend a lot more than that.

Today I got a degree wheel for the new cam and a set of tools to pull/refit the harmonic balancer. Oh, and a socket to turn the crank as well as a oil pump primer. One of these days I'll get finished with pulling parts off of the engine and start putting things back together. Hopefully!

I had to remove the fuse box on my 2007 Uplander today. Some time ago I purchased a set of ratcheting wrenches on a whim. Today those wrenches were worth their weight in gold when I took the fuse box off to access the battery. There were two screws in a very tight space. The ratcheting wrenches turned a tedious job into a quick job. Most of you probably already know this but I began to think I'd never find a situation where they would do anything I needed that couldn't be done with a regular box end wrench. I think I'll be using these as much as possible in the future. (much faster.) Obvious after using them but not so much before being in a really tight pinch. Just added to encourage those who don't think they'll ever need them to not dismiss them if you get a chance to pick some up.

Went to Sears today for a new battery for my van. Received a coupon for $10 off tool purchase of $50 or more. Found a "slim" set of SAE/Metric ratchet wrenches on sale for $59.99. Applying for a Seears card got me another $10 off so out the door price was $49.99 (virtually the same as going to HF.) Disclosure: When I got home I realized the wrenches were "Made in China" but still comparable to HF prices. As long as Sears stays in business I'll be alright. Didn't think they would be useful until I had to remove a couple bolts in some really tight spots. Just my purchase of the day.

I never thought I'd need those things. Ratcheting wrenches??? Phffft !!! Well, I sure wish I had a set when I did my daughters timing belt on her Mazda 626 and very limited room on the front of that engine between the chassis rail. Then putting this wrecked Kia together they sure came in handy.

We've been repairing parts on medical equipment here and there lately with Plasti-Aid. So far it seems like it's doing a great job. Check out the quarter bend at 4:00
