You'll remember a while back I posted this in the I Spy thread....Well, it's still for sale and now down to $1800. About 90% rust free (bumper not withstanding) 4 speed with new tires, brakes, carb,.... claimed 46k original miles

You married guys make me think I should have kept my ex around. I never had a problem. I wanted something, I got it. I even tried talking to her as if I was asking her permission, but was actually asking for her opinion, and she'd say, well if you want it, we got the money, go get it. Many times, I was even hoping she'd talk me out of it cuz I was really liking the nest egg for back up in the bank. It didn't matter what it was, trucks, ATV's, computers, TV etc etc. But, she was pretty damn spoiled herself. If she looked at something to long, I got it for her. She didn't have to say a word.

To much. They are around. I seen one for $1500 here in OKC that looked nice with a brand new motor in it. They have bought a long block crate. Put the pan gasket on wrong, it was leaking, and they got disgusted and said to hell with it. The thing had 50 miles on the new motor and he was sick of it, and just wanted it gone. I didn't have $1500 and he wasn't taking any less, cuz he had $1500 in the new crate motor and that's all he wanted back out of it.

I've seen a couple others for $1200-$1300 too that were in fair shape. That one up there don't even have seats in it. He's asking K5 prices for that one.

We have a couple stores that do, but thier prices are so in the first place, even with double coupons, you're better off going to the no frills store cuz their prices are way cheaper. And they still take coupons, just don't double or triple them. I drive an extra mile and half to go there and avoid WalMart Neighborhood market. I can throw a rock and hit a WMNM but they suck. High prices, always lines from the idiots that go there. So I go 1.5 miles furhter to a local mom and pop chain for great service and low prices.
